Talking Plants organise social events for people who love plants, seeded in Sheffield, with roots across the North. On the 5^th and 6^th of September they will be hosting a 2-day event in Sheffield. The symposium titled ‘Digging into the Detail’, will host a diverse range of speakers and will pose questions to them about substrates, biodiversity, planting design, sustainable propagation and maintenance with the aim of giving attendees detailed information and practical tips that they can take away and apply to their own garden practice. Confirmed speakers include Peter Korn, Chris Baines, Charlotte Harris, Errol Reuben Fernandez, Jo McKerr, John Little, Benny Hawksbee, Sally Bower, Richard Scott, Owen Hayman, Sarah Wilson amongst others including entomologists, conservationists and soil experts. There will be many opportunities to get your own questions across to the speakers. On the Friday night there will be a Talking Plants party held for all attendees and speakers.
